Veiled Images

by Lee Zimmerman

This image is called "Little Toes". At the bottom of the image in the center you will find a small baby's foot. The size of the foot will give a sense of scale for the image. If you follow the foot up you will find the baby's leg, then shoulder, and finally the baby's head in the image.

Look where the baby is looking in the image and you will see the mother looking down at the baby. Given more time, you will realize that the mother's body fills the rest of the image.

Find the mother's hands, and the story will unfold. The mother is offering her breast to the baby, the baby is feeding and looking into the mothers eyes. This is the story of a most intimate connection - mother and child.

The veil slows interpretation and lets the story open slowly like a blossom.
