A Story in Three Parts

Anyone interested in participating in the Online Auction for one of the large (8'x4') dyed silk panels created at "A Story in Three Parts" performance should do the following:

1) Fill out the form below or send a note via email to silkfashion@msn.com. The note should contain name, phone number (for texts), indicate active (or passive) bidding, and a bid amount. You can find out more about active bidding at http://duluthartists.org/active.html

2) The pre-bid must be at least $50. This is the minimum bid for any individual panel. A pre-bid of $50 will act as a ticket allowing you to receive all of the notifications during the live part of the auction.

3) At the beginning of the live part of the auction, a digital image of each of the panels created at the performance will be sent to all online auction participants.

4) The winner of tie bids will be the earliest as determined by the time stamp of when the bid was entered before the close of the live auction.

5) At the completion of the auction, all participants will be informed of the winning bids for each panel.

All Bids Received Online will be considered Passive Bids Unless otherwise indicated.

A pre-bid will be considered a maximum bid from the Online Auction Participant. This maximum bid will be used to bid against other auction participants.

Initially all pre-bid online auction participants will be assigned to a panel at random. If during the auction, the assigned panel price exceeds the pre-bid a second panel will be assigned until all panels are assigned or the bids exceed the online participants maximum bid.

The maximum bid by the online auction participant will be used to bid against other auction participants for the assigned panel in increments of $10 until the maximum limit is attained or the live auction ends.
